1. What BraveDay is

BraveDay is a website and mobile application for parents of children aged 4 to 12. Each day the app offers three small cards: an affirmation for the parent, a short Brave Card the parent and child say out loud together, and one question to ask the child, all written for the child's age and aimed at helping children name their fears and act brave anyway. The child never uses the app; the parent does. The service is provided by BraveDay ("we", "us").

2. Not advice

BraveDay provides ideas and prompts, not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or educational advice. Cards are suggestions only. You are the judge of what is safe and suitable for your child, and you remain responsible for supervising any activity you choose to do. Skip anything that does not fit your child or your home.

3. Your content stays yours

Everything you enter in the app, your children's profiles, your notes, and the words of your child's you write down, belongs to you. It is stored on your device, and a copy is backed up on our servers under your anonymous account so it can be restored, as described in the privacy policy. We claim no ownership of any of it, and we use it only to run the service for you: keeping the backup, restoring it, and, where you have opted in, writing your next cards. You can erase our copy at any time from Settings. Voice memos never reach us at all.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, resell, or redistribute the card content at scale, and not to use the service in any unlawful way. Card content is licensed to you for personal, family use.

5. Purchases

BraveDay is a paid subscription, billed weekly or yearly, that starts with a three-day free trial and renews automatically unless cancelled. Payment is processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and subscriptions are cancelled through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

6. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
